Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
I think there is a lack of social events among the company and you don't really get a chance to form those type of relationships at work. seeing the amount of employee turnover doesn't seem like a good look especially those in manager positions. I think there is a lot of push to get things done a specific way and target but without the resourcing to help people succeed. In mu position there's a fair bit of site stakeholder engagement. There is flexibility with going to other sites and working from home if required. I do however think there is a lack of trust between those on the shop floor and those within management.

One of the most appealing aspects of this organisation is how easy it is to communicate with all of the managers. I can say that I can go talk to any management from any department about anything, and they will sincerely listen and assist you. Even though I am the least experienced, none of them made me feel less important, and they always allowed me to share my thoughts and encouraged my feedback. It made me feel good about myself and helped me increase my confidence. Everyone is hardworking and enjoys engaging in light-hearted banter at work in a healthy manner. I can confidently state that this organization has an excellent work culture.

I have a chance to work with the Penrice Quarry team, the Sellicks Hill Quarry team, batchers from South Australia concrete plants as well as colleagues from Thebarton office. It gives me opportunity to broaden my social circle and gain insights into various work cultures from different backgrounds.

Very friendly, I find no difficulty to discuss some matter with colleagues in other team or general manager in other team. But I feel that people are regarding vacation student as people who don't exist, I think they don't gain much experience during internship.

Culture is generally okay, the team works fairly well together but people are there to work rather than make friends. Structure is as expected.

Our company's culture fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, both in the office and after hours. The structure and hierarchy are quite satisfying, as Adbri employs a decentralized model that empowers employees at all levels to make decisions and contribute meaningfully. Teamwork is highly valued, with colleagues responding quickly to queries and emails, ensuring efficient communication and problem-solving. However, there is room for improvement in socializing and networking, as opportunities for these activities are somewhat limited. Enhancing networking opportunities is essential, as it plays a critical role in building strong workplace relationships and fostering a more cohesive and engaged team.
