Your role

The ABC Marketing team are accountable for driving awareness and promotion of ABC content to their audiences around Australia, and beyond. They work across all ABC products and content areas including ABC TV, ABC Kids, ABC iView, ABC Listen, Triple J, News, ABC Radio, and podcasts – and we leverage a range of broadcast, digital, direct, social media, and mass channels to drive the growth of their audiences and greater engagement with their content.

Within the Marketing team, they have several key functions including Screen Marketing, Audio Marketing, News Marketing, Publicity and Events, and 1:1 Marketing and Communications. Each of these teams leverages their areas of expertise, partnering with teams across the ABC, to find creative ways to promote and reach more audiences and bring their content to life!

The ABC is looking for ambitious young marketers for the first round of the ABC MARKETING Upstart internship program. A six-week paid mentorship opportunity that will give successful candidates a taste of working on marketing and or publicity campaigns for ABC screen, audio and digital platforms.
