Your role

The ABC is seeking multiple talented Software Engineers who take pride in their work to join a strong team of engineers who is responsible for the ABC’s digital content management platform that provides content authoring, publishing, and distribution services to all ABC digital products and apps. Your mission is to strengthen the engineering foundation of the platforms and services that play a key enabler role in underpinning the success of the ABC digital.

About you

Here's what ABC is looking for in this role:

You will have a methodical and detail-oriented work style and bring:

• Extremely well-versed in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience in AWS – e.g. S3, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS
• Experience in RESTful API design and development
• Ability to write high-quality and testable code
• Experience in developing secure and high-performance backend applications
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to share knowledge
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies and navigate complex problems

The following experiences, while not essential, would be advantageous:

• Maven or similar build automation and repository management tool
• Sencha Ext JS or similar frontend Javascript framework  
• Node.js
