An ABC internship is a period of practical work experience arranged between the educational institution, the ABC, and the student. The ABC Audio News and Current Affairs Internship is a 6-week learning program where participants will be trained in the technical production of audio news and current affairs. You will learn about the editing, publishing and live on-air technical production of news and current affairs content for radio broadcasts and podcast production.
Many people come to ABC with qualifications in journalism, radio, online, or a relevant course suited to a corporate area. However, there are courses available to keep you up to date with skills or systems unique to the ABC or to keep your industry knowledge relevant.
