The Material Master Data – Intern will be supporting the Regional Master Data Lead in ensuring the integrity of the Material Master Data across all systems.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
Maintain accuracy of material master database including details such as dimensions and palletization details.
Carry out testing on new SAP functionality relating to master data as and when required.
Updating Material Replenishment Planning data and periodical data cleansing.
Compiling reports to ensure high-level data integrity.
Coordinate the master data requirements for the introduction of new product lines.
Coordinate the master data requirements for the deletion and replacement of products.
Monitor NPDs, Deletions, and Product Changes (with relation to master data).
Prepare monthly Key Performance Indicators for the Supply dashboard.
Update of external databases to ensure consistency with SAP (E.g. GS1 NPC, Salsify, Regional Data Sheets, and product submission forms).
About you
Experience Required:
Hands-on experience with materials requirements planning (MRP) is highly desirable.
Hands-on user of the SAP MM & PP modules (or similar) with a solid understanding of how to create and maintain master data and BOMs would be a bonus.
Skills:
Able to multi-task various projects at one time.
Structured and detailed in their approach to tasks and projects.
High level of attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel user with extensive experience using Formulae, Pivot Tables, and V-look ups.
