As a result of huge growth driven by the world shifting more and more to living & working on the move (5G, working from home, etc) we want to hire a full-time Graduate Sales Engineering person who has graduated with a STEM degree within the past 2-3 years who is looking for their first or second job. You will be a highly motivated and ambitious person with a positive “can-do” attitude. You will naturally have a problem-solving & creative mentality and thrive in a team environment. You will have excellent presentation skills and previous telecommunication experience is a distinct advantage.
You will join our Graduate Development program which will provide you with a path towards Technical Sales excellence while working for a company that’s leading the way for innovation. The program offers extensive networking, mentoring, and coaching opportunities, and its structured learning approach includes role rotations as well as classroom-based and hands-on training during which you’ll learn about Ciena’s solutions and how our organizations work together to exceed the needs of our customers.
After your development program ends you will join our Sales Engineering team full time. The Sales Engineer (SE) is a key component to Ciena’s success and is the technical bridge between our Ciena and our current and future customers. The Sales Engineer utilizes their technical aptitude to maximize sales and profitability at current accounts and develops business opportunities with new clients by taking ownership of the prime technical relationship with our customers and prospects.
