Our Buildings & Project Management business group in Newcastle is looking for a Graduate Project Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the Northern New South Wales region, and be connected with other Australian and international teams who do similar work.

The work involves end-to-end project management with a focus on the building sector. The role will involve office-based work as well as regular interaction with clients and contractors. You will have experienced staff to guide and mentor you, as well as access to our Young Professionals network.

We’re looking for someone who:

• will graduate by December 2022 with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management, or a Masters degree in Project Management plus a relevant Bachelors degree.
• has an interest in project management for large construction projects.
• enjoys client interaction and is able to deal with challenging situations.
• has good verbal and written communication skills.

Any prior relevant experience will be highly regarded, but we are also willing to train someone who is interested in a long-term career in project management. 

This is a role for GHD’s 2023 Graduate Program which starts in February 2023. The two-year Graduate Program provides structured training to develop your corporate skills. It will also link you to a wider graduate cohort located within Australia and internationally. The successful candidate may also have the option to work casually prior to graduating. Upon completion of the Graduate Program, you will have an ongoing role at GHD.
