Drafting and Design of product components and whole assemblies in Solid Works of new and existing LDC product offerings.
Scheduling of production orders using the current Schedule System
Liaising with Director and GM regarding product documentation, availability of parts, ETA’s and escalating issues as they arise. Ensuring technicians are provided with most up-to-date drawings
Assist the production manager as required
Liaising with the Product Development team on rapid prototyping and testing of concepts.
Hands-on prototyping, assembly and testing of components and systems.
Trouble-shooting of failure modes and working to improve component and product performance through design improvements.
Liaising with manufacturing partners to incorporate best practices for various manufacturing techniques and verify products meet the expected quality and performance standards.
Developing concept sketches and technical product layouts.
Whilst also improving functional performance, reliability, assembly time and accuracy.
