Please comment on your role and day-to-day responsibilities.
Within a sales role the day to day is very ad hoc but essentially it's idea generation, communication to clients, trading and execution, and responding to client requests

Varies depending on what day of the month.

In short, you are given a lot of responsibility early. On live deals this will go as far as to include interaction with C-suite members. The nature of day-to-day responsibilities varies greatly, but in short - analysis is the aim of the game (be it quantitative, qualitative, or something in between)

Given a high level of responsibility and work directly with clients on high profile M&A and capital markets deals

Challenging and interesting

In my grad year, the focus was very much on learning the business and helping where possible however little responsibility can be handed over to new starters until appropriate training has been given. This can be really frustrating however the rotations are designed with this in mind. The short term nature of the rotations and year long program make this manageable. This does mean that no day is the same and there is a lot of room for creativity in the role.
