Your responsibilities

As an Audit Associate in the Audit team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing financial statements of companies as per country-specific statutory requirements
  • Building relationships with onshore team members sitting across different locations
  • Reviewing financial statements of international companies for compliance with legislative and accounting standards, mathematical accuracy and consistency

KRC Audit is a fast-growing team that is servicing KPMG’s European audit clients and a few other countries. The majority of work is done for the UK audit practice, but they are also serving KPMG - Holland, Australia, Cayman Island, Channel Island, Ireland, Bermuda, Germany, Switzerland and UAE. KRC is looking at ways of growing the number of countries they serve.

About you

  • Have Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting
  • Have 0 – 1 year experience in relevant field

To be an attractive candidate, you should have the following key skills;

Technical skills:

  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Book-keeping experience will be beneficial but not essential
  • Proficiency/ Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage

Behavioral/team skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
