About the Role

We are seeking a motivated student with strong coding skills to join our team as a part-time intern. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building data pipelines using cloud infrastructure. Good skills in SQL and Python are preferred. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services is a plus. Rate of ~$320 per day.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Develop and maintain streaming and batch pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Transform data using SQL and dbt, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Work with cloud infrastructure to support data engineering tasks.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Some experience with SQL and Python.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cloud services, especially GCP, is advantageous.
• Experience with GCP services like BigQuery.
• Knowledge of version control systems and statistical analysis.
• Experience with data engineering, analytics, or cloud infrastructure.
