You’ll kick off your career with an extensive induction program which will cover the basics of legal practice as well as provide a friendly introduction to key members of the practice teams. They understand that the beginning of your career in law is a critical building block for your future, so their program is designed to provide an insight into ‘life within a firm’ and for you to experience first-hand their open, supportive and friendly culture.

Training, development & rotations

Mills Oakley offers graduates the chance to experience a variety of practice areas, including Corporate, Property, Litigation, Family Law, Not-for-Profit Law, and Private Advisory. They take a collaborative approach to learning and development, providing personal attention and unique opportunities to help graduates realize their full potential.

Over 12 months, you’ll rotate through three (3) practice areas (listed below) and gain a sense of your preferred career direction.
