Barto Gold is a division of Minjar Gold. We are a privately owned Australian gold explorer, developer and producer who has been operation since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in both Western Australia and Queensland.  With our flagship project located in the gold fields region at Marvel Loch, Barto Gold owns a tenement package in excess of 1,400km2 with significant exploration potential and a gold processing facility.  The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, two active underground mines and several open pits with more projects planned for 2022. This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for current and future growth.

About the roles

Reporting to the UG Mining Superintendent, you will provide short term mine strategy plans, stope notes and drill & blast plans as well as ventilation surveys and project works. You will also liaise with our mining contractor to ensure effective production performance across two underground projects.

About you

• Degree qualified in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated previous UG production experience
• Competent in the use of Mine Planning & Scheduling software
• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement
