The Role

An excellent opportunity exists at Moira Shire Council in the Construction and Assets Department to be involved in our Civil Student Engineer (Internship) Program.

This opportunity allows the successful candidate to work during semester breaks to gain practical experience while undertaking a full-time tertiary study to achieve an Engineering qualification. There is also an opportunity for the student to work one day per week during the semester.

In this role, you will assist in survey and design for engineering projects, investigate and provide accurate information and advice on engineering projects and schemes, and support the implementation of capital works programs.

You will actively contribute to the team, ensure quality standards are adhered to and be able to manage your time effectively.

Applicants must be about to commence civil engineering at a Victorian or NSW university.
