The Role

Moira Shire has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer - Admin Support to join the Goulburn Murray Valley Regional Fruit Fly team, working on the fight against Queensland Fruit Fly across the Goulburn Murray Region.

In this new pivotal role, you will be working directly with the QFF Project Coordinator, providing a range of administrative services including records management, database maintenance, accounts and budget management, communication coordination across multiple organizations, as well as updating the website and social media platforms.

The award-winning Goulburn Murray Valley Regional Fruit Fly Project brings together the community, industry, and government, to improve control of Queensland fruit fly (Q fly) through area-wide management.

This is a temporary full-time position until 30 June 2023 and is based in Moira Shire.
