Sales

  • Assist the desk with morning summaries, flag important market-moving events, and client centricity.

Sales trading & trading 

  • Identifying potential buyers/sellers in stocks and exploring block opportunities
  • Assist the desk with data and trade execution
  • Provide market trading color to clients as well as internally

About you

Education, skills, and qualities required:

  • B. Tech/B.E. or an equivalent engineering degree along with an MBA.

Sales:

  • Well-read, passionate about markets, and taking a keen interest in current affairs, politics, and economic policies.
  • Should be analytical, can connect the dots, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the stock markets, and valuation methodologies.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg, etc. to come out with market content and analysis beyond consensus.
  • Team player and collaborative in approach working closely with other departments and regional teams.
  • Willing to unlearn and learn.

Sales trading & trading 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the stock markets (ideally both cash and futures)
  • Good communication skills (eventually it’s a sales role). Ability to speak on market moves/trends
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, etc to come out with market content
