Your role

At My Fortress, they have over 30 years of experience in mentoring and training undergraduate students throughout their career journey, right through to becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser. With over 65 staff members in our team, they are looking for future stars.

Whether you are in your first or third year of university studies, My Fortress has designed a Financial Adviser program that will enable you to learn all aspects of the financial planning process. You would commence in the administration team where you will learn the core skills in supporting the advice team, transition to paraplanning to develop your technical skills, as well as complete the FASEA professional year. The program can be offered as a part-time working arrangement while you complete your university studies.

About you

The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:

  • Completing a Graduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • Willingness to continue relevant financial planning industry education.
  • Desire and enthusiasm to learn and understand all aspects of the financial services profession.
  • A professional work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.

This is an exciting, team-focused role that will require excellent time management skills. Other skills you will have include:

  • High level of verbal and written communication.
  • High standard of Microsoft Office competency.
  • Proactive approach and problem-solving ability.
  • Client focused.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
