Your role

NZX's funds business is Smartshares, which helps New Zealanders to find financial security through savings, investment and insurance solutions. We are the licensed manager of eight managed investment schemes that include the SuperLife KiwiSaver scheme and the Smartshares Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). We are disrupting the market and lowering the cost of investment through our index-tracking and systematic investment approach.

As the Junior Tester, you will contribute to maintaining, changing, and upgrading high-quality and reliable systems at Smartshares. The work is diverse and includes working closely with other teams across NZX when testing skills are required.
  
You will ensure that test deliverables are delivered on time, created according to the standard defined in the test method, and are written to be re-usable and auditable.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Experience in manual testing (automated testing is desirable)
  • Ability to understand detailed documentation and complex systems
  • Critical thinker and able to work through issues logically and methodically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
