Your role

Programmed Electrical Technologies has a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to kick start a career in Electrical Estimation/Design by joining their operations based in Brisbane.

As a Graduate with Programmed you will apply your skillset in Electrical Design to the broader team and be integral in supporting its growing projects portfolio.

Training & development

You will get exposure across several of Programmed's diverse contracts and be provided with a well-rounded experience, these contracts may include Office Fit-outs, Base Building refurbishments, and Designing Maintenance Programs for Electrical systems.

About you

Experience in a services or infrastructure maintenance environment is beneficial but not essential. To be successful in this role, you will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, a strong appetite to learn, and a genuine desire to pursue a career in facility management or an essential services industry. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, or expected to graduate in 2024
  • Commitment to building a long-term career
  • Excellent attention to detail and active listening skills
  • Motivation to succeed and a willingness to learn
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong focus on safety in the workplace
  • Electrical project/ design experience
  • Understanding of relevant Queensland Electrical Standards.AS3000
  • Blue beam experience preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of CAD functions
