About the Opportunity

Qenos currently has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Altona, VIC. 

Working closely with Qenos's Sales and Logistics Teams, Qenos Customer Service Representatives provide outstanding front line service to the customer base. Whilst primarily receiving and processing orders, proactive problem solving and anticipating potential issues is core to the role. This is an opportunity to develop relationships and a close understanding of a distinct customer base.

Someone that has high drive and initiative combined with strong interpersonal skills will be well suited to the role.

  • Capture and process customer orders efficiently and accurately
  • Engage with Sales Teams, Production Schedulers, transport and logistics providers to meet customer expectations and resolve any incidental issues regarding the production and timely delivery of product
  • Raise and investigate customer complaints related to service issues
  • Engage in some sales activities for prospective customers
  • Contribute to the positive team culture within the Customer Service team by providing support and clear communication to other valued team members
  • Various administrative reporting requirements
  • Support the business unit by identifying process and systems improvements leading to greater efficiency and customer service outcomes

About You

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have previous Customer Service experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Qualifications in a related Science or related discipline will be held in high regard, however not mandatory to be considered. Ideally you will also possess an impressive attention to detail, and be proactive in your approach to achieving quality results while meeting competing expectations from a diverse range of stakeholders. 

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant customer service position
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to review data, identify anomalies and trends and provide detailed reports for stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under-pressure without error
  • A willingness and ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders from all levels of the organisation
  • Experience with SAP
  • Adequate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Experience with a CRM, and the technical aptitude to learn new systems
