About the Opportunity

Qenos now has a new exciting opportunity for recent Chemical Engineering Graduates to join our organisation in Botany in a three year Graduate Intake Program.

This 3 year program will provide you with exposure to different plants within the Botany Operations including Olefines, Polythene and Site Utilities. To provide you with a well-rounded experience by the end of the program, you will spend 12 months in each Botany plant You will also be provided with a Mentor within the business to help with your development and long-term career growth.

About You

To be considered for this position you will be a recent Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Honours graduates will be held in high regard. 

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Knowledge or interest in petrochemical & polymer industries and their properties
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and activities to maximise efficiency
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills to systematically analyse problems
  • An enthusiasm to contribute to a collaborative team mind-set with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A drive for results with application of initiative and creativity
