Right from the first day in the office I noticed how much effort has been given to making it a diverse and respectful space. There are no negative comments to mention here, I think the department has really stuck to it's word and set up a space for everyone. Recruitment collects diversity information respectfully, retention seems to be consistent across most diversity factors which reflects on the workplace environment.

Work environment is fairly diverse. Slightly more men than women in my level.

We have an LGBT network, but it's rarely ever mentioned/highlighted, I had to find it on the intranet myself. I feel the office very much lacks racial and gender diversity, but I don't think the minorities on the floor are treated any differently to anyone else.

I'm a woman, which is good to increase the number of women in the office. However, it is quite low overall. I feel there is work needed in this area to bring the numbers up. There are members of the LGBT in the branch too, but this would be good to have more members of the community in the team.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
There's encouragement for all backgrounds to apply but I wouldn't say there's a huge incentive if you're from a less privileged background. Otherwise, that'd be inequality itself.

Promote applications internally, and campaigns through different communication channels.
Midlevel, Brisbane - 31 Jan 2023
I am more unaware about any effort to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds. Perhaps this was considered more during the application process.
