Your role

As a Finance System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing Rabobank's financial systems, ensuring their efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.

You will be responsible for assisting in completing the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the General Ledger system, helping with analysis and resolution of system issues to reduce user impact, and proactively partnering with the Finance users and our IT provider to enhance reporting automation capability and user experience.

Top Role Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues, implement system enhancement, and support business processes.
  • Assist in maintaining and day-to-day administration of the general ledger system and finance system processes
  • General ledger (GL) monitoring, conducting relevant GL system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations
  • Month-end cutoff and Manual Journal Coordination: Assist in coordinating and monitoring of late Manual journals including month-end lessons learned

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant programming experience in VBA and/or SQL.
  • Experience working with financial systems, databases, and reporting tools including PowerBi.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Values-led mindset, with a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Banking experience would also be advantageous but not critical to success in the role. This role would suit a recent graduate with a Finance and IT background who is interested in applying your programming and analytical skills to grow with Rabobank.
