Your role

Be a risk champion and help maintain our rock-solid bank. The Risk Management Graduate stream offers you the opportunity to build your technical expertise across a broad range of disciplines in the Risk Management function. Over the course of your 18-month graduate program, your bespoke rotation structure could see you rotating across Enterprise Risk Management, Financial Restructuring, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk, and being exposed to all facets of risk management tasks and responsibilities. You will learn to identify, evaluate, and manage current and emerging risks, and play an important role in instilling an appropriate risk culture at Rabobank.

To develop a well-rounded knowledge of the bank, you will also be placed on three short-term rotations within risk and compliance, rural or regional branches, and operations. Selected Graduates will also be placed on a short-term international rotation to connect with colleagues in our global head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have recently completed your study within the past three years
  • Available to start full-time employment from February 2025.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in your chosen field.
  • Passion for the food and agribusiness industry would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan and organise self.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication at all levels both written and verbal.
