Your role

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Student Engineer (Hardware) to join their Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of Bosch's Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with them include: 

• Building samples and prototypes for electronic control units.
• Involvement in the vehicle installation of prototype electronic control units.
• Contribute to verification activities (including testing) needed to guarantee that product designs comply with customer and internal specifications.
• Contribute to improving product designs to reduce costs, improve quality/reliability, and increase productivity.
• Proactively search for potential risks and recommend alterations to mitigate those risks.
• Ensure that all documentation required to support a product’s introduction is available on time as required and its quality is to the expected level.

About you

You will have excellent attention to detail, can prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well within a team environment, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Electronics/Hardware Engineering
• Demonstrate knowledge of the traditional hardware development lifecycle
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing customer and internal demands  
• Preferred technical skills: Python
• Have strong communication skills
