Your role

Under the direction of the HSE Business Partner, the HSE Intern will support with all the administration of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Specific Tasks 

  • Assist with overall HSE documentation including Safe Work Instructions, Procedures, Training materials, Site based Registers & Tools, Preparation for meetings, Meeting Minutes (HSE)
  • Assist with Incident investigation and maintaining records (HSE)
  • Contribute to plant/ equipment and chemical hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk controls (HSE)
  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining HSE Management systems (External Certifications-ISO14001 & 45001, Internal Audits, Contractor Management, Maintenance Register) (HSE)
  • Assist with monthly inspections and maintain chemical stock inventory in ChemAlert at Kings Park (HSE & FCM)
  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining site Training Matrices (HSE)
  • Assist with HSE Inductions and Emergency Response Training for new starters and maintain records (HSE)
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting associated with Carbon neutral initiative by Bosch Group (HSE)
  • Assist with improvement projects/ initiatives as directed (HSE & FCM)

About you

Position Requirements

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Cert IV or Studying Cert IV in Health and Safety
  • Time Management and strong communication skills with attention to detail
  • A strong team focus and personal work ethics
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
