Your role

The Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. With capabilities covering end-to-end the complete Development and New Product Introduction process they are managing and implementing global platform projects, tailored for their Original Equipment customers.

You will gain invaluable experience and knowledge as an integral part of their Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with them include: 

  • Reviewing the system engineering process and providing the required support.
  • Proactively search for potential risks, investigate solutions to mitigate those risks and update higher authorities.
  • Support and coach members who perform stakeholder requirements elicitation, and requirements development, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
  • Contributing to the product development and design of new products, components, or systems.
  • Collaborating with different engineering disciplines to ensure requirements are met with a design, and are verified and validated.

About you

You will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines. You will work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for their Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics).
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect Management Lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate experience in understanding the architecture design.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be legally entitled to work full time (38 hours per week) in Australia.
  • Demonstrate experience in collaborating with cross discipline teams.
