Key responsibilities:

As Graduate Advisor/Consultant - Safety & Risk, you will assist in developing client HSSEQ management systems, document writing, developing training, assisting with RTO compliance administration, and assisting in client management system audits.

Key areas of Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Assist with input to the development of project proposals
  • Development of client HSSEQ documentation
  • QA/QC of client HSSEQ documentation
  • Participate in HSSEQ risk management activities; this includes risk workshops, hazard identification, ergonomic issues, chemicals hazards, travel risk etc.
  • Assist with the RTO compliance administration, training development and delivery

Qualifications required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or similar
  • Good understanding of WA OH&S and harmonised WHS legislation and standards
  • Good understanding of the development of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills, including using Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
  • Demonstrates exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, maintain quality work under pressure and strong time management
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and Asia Pacific Region, including offshore facilities to provide services to clients

Desirable Experience and Skills are:

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, Resources and/or mining  industries
  • Understanding of ISO Standards 9001, 14001, 45001 and 31000
  • Auditor qualifications and experience
  • Training qualifications and experience
