Your role

The graduate program at Simplot is structured to provide participants with extensive exposure to business operations. Individuals will collaborate with a diverse group of skilled and seasoned professionals, receiving guidance and development from a manager, mentor, and buddy. In addition to functional rotations across the business, the program offers a tailored graduate training experience that combines group and self-paced development. The emphasis is on cultivating business acumen and nurturing individuals into effective leaders.

This includes participation in professional development courses, learning from leadership models, gaining practical experience in manufacturing facilities and field interactions with growers, understanding the complete supply chain, and exploring diverse roles within the company that unite globally under the banner of "One Simplot." The sales teams at Simplot demonstrate excellence in formulating and implementing the vision and strategy for each brand. They are seeking a skilled sales graduate to join the team at the headquarters in Mentone, Melbourne.

To be eligible for the sales graduate role you:

• Have completed your undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 2 years of the program start date
• Achieved a credit average of 65% or higher with a relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related commercial-based degree
• Are available to commence in late January 2025
• Are an Australian or NZ citizen, hold Australian Permanent Residency, or have full working rights for full-time permanent employment in Australia
• Are available to attend the onsite assessment day at the headquarters in Mentone on Monday 26 August 2024
• It is an expectation that the graduates can drive to different locations throughout the program

Training, development & rotations

As part of this graduate program, individuals will benefit from valuable insights gained through rotations in various business areas, involvement in cross-divisional projects, and participation in training programs. 

Career progression

Upon completion of the two-year program, participants will be presented with a permanent role within the organization.
