In this role, you'll:

Be working as part of our Engineering and Maintenance team within the Major Works or Network Maintenance divisions, you'll be integral to delivering a range of construction, engineering and maintenance services ensuring a safe and reliable network but most importantly, ensuring our customers remain connected and on the move.

You'll perform major periodic and regular routine maintenance and repairs, reconstruction and installation of signal assets. You'll also carrying out inspections and corrective works in accordance with Technical Maintenance Plans, Standard Operating Instructions and Infrastructure Engineering Standards.

About you

You're a skilled innovative tradesperson who holds a licence to practice as a Signal Electrician. You have experience working in a construction or maintenance environment similar to rail and you're now looking for an opportunity to learn new skills, gain new qualifications and progress your career. You work well in a friendly and supportive team and want to be part maintaining the public transport infrastructure that keeps Sydney moving!

These are shift-based roles in a 24/7 environment, you will work as part of a team to support our network and as such will be required to work night shift, weekend work, overtime and on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.
