One of the beauties about working in the Systems team was the experience to diversify my knowledge on not just specific subsystems, but also the management aspect of the project.
The most rewarding part of my role would be finding operational improvements on-site / assisting the Team Leaders and Operators in my team to get to their full potential.
Some of my tasks are tracking and paying invoices for work completed by consultants, preparing fee proposal requests, and reviewing budgets for the current and future phases of the project.
Being a full-time working parent is a daily juggling act. However, working in a firm that promotes flexibility and work-life balance has greatly helped me with not only the advancement in my career but to also raise two children.
