Planning allows TMR to integrate our network to reduce congestion and improve safety across all our modes of transport. As the population of Queensland is growing rapidly, our Planners are researching and delivering recommendations to shape future infrastructure development to support our lifestyle of the future.
If you join TMR as a Planning graduate you can develop a career in a broad range of transport planning fields. You may move into adjacent fields such as Transport Policy or Transport Modelling and will develop transferrable skills to move into leadership focused roles as you gain
experience.
The Planner role is part of the Translink Division of TMR which has responsibility for the service specification of all passenger transport modes across Queensland.
There are two roles available in TransLink in the Service Planning & Infrastructure and Rail Planning and projects sections. They plan and grow public rail, bus and ferry services and integrate the multi-modal network to increase journey opportunities across Queensland.
