What it does: G’day Parks is Australia’s leading community of independent caravan parks.
Mission: The mission is About connecting with people and memorable holidays the whole family can enjoy. And, with more holiday parks in more places, we deliver unmatched choice and freedom, great accommodation and, of course, a warm and welcoming g’day.
Size and presence: With over 280 parks in some of the country’s most sought-after destinations, we’re about authentic Australian holiday experiences and the simple pleasures that become lifelong memories.
Best known for: We’re about wide-open spaces, campfire stories, and adventure
The good bits: It is always nice to meet new and happy people in a great environment. There wasn't much company computer training that would have been a great help. But all n all, I enjoyed maintaining the resort with an awesome crew.
The not-so-good bits: Long hours no breaks and no correct wages.
Our story begins over 35 years ago with a community of independent caravan and holiday parks uniting to form the Top Tourist Parks network. Today, reinvented as G’day Parks, that network has grown to over 280 parks, making it the largest of its kind in Australia. What hasn’t changed is our spirit of community and mateship, and our pride in delivering great holiday experiences as we welcome you into our backyard.
Owned by the G’day Group and headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, G’day Parks invites you to join our tribe and make holiday memories that put a smile in every day.
At Discovery Parks we aim to provide a positive and enjoyable work environment with a variety of opportunities for personal success and career development. We believe in a culture of continuous learning and a career with Discovery Parks means no two days are alike!

As Australia’s largest regional accommodation provider we are committed to growing, supporting, and protecting regional communities. From the regional Australians, we employ to the incredible rural landscapes that attract our guests, regional communities are at our heart. We stand with these communities and have a range of initiatives in place to support them.
Our major charity partner, Rural Aid, is one of Australia’s largest regionally-focused charities and most famous for their Buy a Bale and Farm Army initiatives. They provide critical support including eater, fodder (hay), financial aid, and counseling assistance to farmers and regional communities who endure drought, flood, and fire.
We are a major tourism employer and are committed to developing our people and providing career pathways for regional Australians. We work to raise awareness of the important leadership role women play in the holiday parks sector and the opportunities for corporate training and entrepreneurship for young people in regional areas.
The G’day Group also invests significant capital into improving infrastructure in regional communities. For every dollar spent on regional accommodation, $2 is generated for regional economies, so our commitment to boosting regional tourism by continually upgrading and developing our properties is important to regional prosperity.
